Taking Thieves Oil: My Experiences
My Dad finally gave into the pain of a dead and decaying tooth and made an appointment
with a dentist to have it pulled. The dentist never completely deadened the nerves and finally
decided he had to quit trying after more than a dozen shots. He pulled the tooth and gave
Daddy a prescription for painkillers, insisting that he get them before leaving town because
he wouldn't be able to make it through the weekend without them. Knowing that "manufactured"
medicine always has a downside, he ignored the dentist's advice.
Well, the pain did become unbearable, and Daddy searched through Mom's "oil"
cabinet (we don't have, or need, "medicine" cabinets). He recognized the
Thieves oil blend, put a few drops on a cotton ball and packed it into the hole. Bam! Almost
instant relief! Later, he found some paper on which he had spilled a drop of the Thieves.
He tore-off the oil-soaked portion, folded it, and put it into the hole in place of the
cotton. He said this worked even better because it wasn't so bulky.
Several beneficial things happened as a result of Dad's using Thieves oil:
1)
|
The discomfort was relieved.
|
2)
|
Negative effects from "manufactured" painkillers
were avoided.
|
3)
|
As a wonderful antiseptic, Thieves oil kept anything worse from taking hold.
|
4)
|
The natural high frequency of Thieves oil (or any other YL essential oil) strengthened
Daddy's body, rather than slowly decaying it.
|
5)
|
Daddy's body utilized the amino acids (the building
blocks of the body) in the essential oil to immediately
begin the rebuilding/regeneration/healing process.
|
Was Daddy being reckless with his health?! To me, it seems like
anyone who doesn't have and use an "oil" cabinet
is being reckless with their health.

| WARNING: Chick magnetism is
a common side effect of the regular application of
Thieves! Just joking. Caleb and cousins

When I first became acquainted with the oils, there was a
day that I barely dragged through. I went to bed early that
night
and woke up at 11:00 the next morning. I knew I was fighting
some kind of infection, but really didn't take it seriously
until later. (Looking back, I should have been rubbing Thieves
on my feet.) I don't know whether it was a wisdom tooth
issue, a tonsil thing, an abscess, or a throat infection, but
a hard lump developed at the corner of my jaw and my neck was
very tender just below the jaw bone. It was painful to chew and
I preferred not to eat at all.
Did I call a dentist or doctor?! Nope. I haven't found
one who uses the oils yet, so I have better stuff to work with
in my "oil" cabinet. Do I have a fancy term for the
symptoms that I experienced? Nope. I've got an "oil" cabinet
stocked with the most cutting-edge medicine in the world.
I put two or three drops of Thieves into about half a cup of water, mixed it, then gargled
and "swished" it for a minute...until the heat from the Thieves disappeared. Then
I took a couple more drops and rubbed them onto the outside of my lower jaw and upper neck.
I dealt with the pain like this for two days until all symptoms disappeared. When the pain
would wake me up at night, I'd get up, do the "Thieves thing", role back
in bed, and I'd be amazed that the pain was already gone. I'd swish air around, stick
my tongue in my cheek, and swallow, trying to find the pain again. It just wasn't
there!
And let's talk value! The cost of Thieves is $32.00 (Preferred
Customer price) for a 15ml bottle which has more than 250 drops.
That means it costs about 13¢ a drop. Each time I did the application
above, it cost me about 65¢. Three days of applications ran about
$7.80. That's a bargain when compared to a doctor's
appointment, a prescription, over-the-counter meds, or anything
currently in the typical medicine cabinet. And rather than masking
symptoms and forcing my body to deal with something else later,
Thieves strengthened my immune system...it was good for me! Give
me some oils and sick people!!!
I often battled tonsillitis, strep throat,
and earaches as a kid, not wanting to eat for a week at a time
because it hurt so bad to swallow. The only relief Mom could
offer was a heating pad and a warm glass of saltwater with which
to gargle. We seldom went to the doctor and, looking back, I’m
so thankful that we didn’t. Sure, they may have offered a medication
to kill the pain, but it would have only masked the root problem.
Years later they would prescribe an antibiotic which (What do
you know!) would have killed the infection in about a week and
contributed to bigger problems down the road because of a compromised
immune system.
I discovered the real source of my problem quite by accident.
It wasn’t that God created me with an “antibiotic deficiency” which
doctors had to fix. It was my lack of care for the miraculous
body God had given me. Without a doubt, the things that contributed
most my throat problems were 1) pasteurized milk and 2) sugar.
Now that I seldom get sore throats, the cause is even more obvious.
Guess when they happen? The week after Thanksgiving or the during
the Christmas/New Year’s Holidays…right after I’ve weakened my
immune system by compromising my diet. Notice that I don’t call
it “Flu Season. There is no connection whatsoever between viruses
and bacteria and cold weather. In fact, if we look at it logically,
we should have less germ-related problems during winter months.
Why do we use refrigerators? To slow the growth
of germs. Why doesn’t the whole nation of Canada constantly
have “the flu”? Many of its Summer days
are colder than the Winter days that those of us in Texas experience.
From now on, when you hear the words “flu season” I hope you’ll
think “bad food season”. This will cause you to take responsibility
for your health rather than blaming it on a big, bad, boogyman known
as “flu.” A major step toward living in health is to claim responsibility
for it. You will never find the true cause of an illness if you
continue to blame it on invisible, scary forces over which you
have no control. Is that how a person “created in God’s image” should
act? Put another way, does it make a father proud when his child
shirks responsibility? If “dominion over...every creeping thing
that creepeth upon the earth” doesn’t
give us power over germs, then the whole Bible is one big joke.
If it’s serious, then we can appreciate the verse that says “by
the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side,
shall grow all trees for meat...and the leaf thereof for medicine.” Our
essential oils come directly from those leaves, not from a barrel
of crude oil like most prescribed medicine. (Most manufactured
medicine and many herb pills is tar-based--a by-product of the
crude oil industry.)
Soooo, on those occasions when I cause
myself to get a sore throat, I’m thankful for the oil blend of
Thieves. Though hot, it tastes good. I rub a couple drops on
my neck and throat, and add drops to water for drinking throughout
the day. In particularly bad cases, I’ll turn the bottle up,
open my mouth wide and stick out my tongue to get two or three
drop directly on the base of my tongue or the back of my throat.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE ELSE. Thieves is very
hot. But as soon as my eyes have stopped watering and I can swallow
and breath again, my throat feels much better than it did just
before the “super octane cough drops.
